My good friend Abby wanted to get some updated family photos over the holidays because within the last few months there has been not 1…but 2 new additions to the family!! Abby became and Aunt [twice]. The DeCicco clan was great and SO great in front of the camera. Aaaaannnd the babies were adorable. So here they are:
[Let's be honest here, I'm never going to be able to limit posts to just 10 images..it's my weakness]
This past week my best friend, Aaron, and his wife, Bess, had their first baby girl, Ruth Christine Cave [otherwise known as Ruthie]. I see kids all the time everywhere I go and it’s so easy to forget what a miracle each and every one of them really is. I feel you get reminded of this when you have a special connection to the child, such as a nephew or a best friend’s baby. Thank you Jesus for Ruthie and bringing into this world safely for her and her mommy. I pray you bless her life and use her according to your will. -Amen
Aaron, being a photographer himself, is going to have a bazillion shots of Ruthie sleeping, Ruthie in the crib, Ruthie laying on the couch, Ruthie being held by Bess, Ruthie being held by Bess on the couch…ect ect…but as it goes as a photographer, rarely will Aaron be the subject of his own photographs. So, I made it my mission when I went to the hospital to visit [on Ruthie's second day of life] to try to document mostly Ruthie and Aaron. Once again, I’m going to try to limit posts to 10 images, but this is a celebration of new life so we’ll bend the rules a bit. Enjoy this little miracle:
I have the privilege of having a dear friend who just so happens to possess one of the most amazing singing voices that God has ever graced this earth with. Karla is about to record her first solo record with all original songs and I’m very excited to see where it takes her, I know it will be far. She currently resides in Baltimore, MD so she flew my butt out there for a weekend and we had a lovely time of catching up on each other’s lives, seeing great music in Baltimore, hanging with her entourage, and making great photos to help promote her record when it drops.
I’m normally going to try to limit these posts to only 10 images, but since this is the first post..and we had so many locations and set ups…I’m just gonna go for broke. Here we go:
