There’s something deliciously ironic about a dentist’s cake being a humongous tooth made of sugar. Makes me feel like it’s okay that I SOMETIMES go to bed without brushing my teeth. While you’re scrolling through this gallery looking for the tooth cake, you’ll be exploring Michele and Ryan’s BEAUTIFUL, magazine cover of a wedding at Villa Antonia in the Texas Hill Country. You’ll see smiles, laughs, cuddles, all things blissful.
But our absolute favorite thing about Michele and Ryan’s wedding is something you won’t see in the photos. It’s how quickly this all went down. These two lovebirds met on October 22nd (I believe the pickup line “Is your name Sophie? Because you’re so-freaking beautiful!” was used, heheee!) and got engaged exactly three months later on January 22nd. We love this because before Shaun and I met each other, fell head-over-heels instantly, got engaged six months later, and married six months after that, the phrase “when you know, you know” was nothing more than an empty cliché. Now it is the battle-cry of our souls! So when we meet couples who tell us, sometimes reluctantly and with the urge to defend themselves, that they only dated for a handful of months before they got engaged, we get ALL GIDDY on the inside because we know that feeling. Life is short, and real, deep love is precious. And when we think about Michele and Ryan, we think about this.
I also think that I should floss more.
